What You Will Do
This internship is structured around 6 practical tasks. The tasks below provide a sample overview of how the internship progresses. Each task targets a specific skill set and builds on the previous one, creating a cohesive, portfolio-ready experience.
Task 1 — Network Reconnaissance
Use Nmap and other tools to discover active hosts and open ports on a network.
Task 2 — Traffic Analysis
Analyze PCAP files using Wireshark to identify security incidents.
Task 3 — Web Vulnerability Assessment
Use Burp Suite to find SQLi and XSS vulnerabilities in a test app.
Task 4 — Security Hardening
Write a script to automate server hardening based on CIS benchmarks.
